A: Project Sole is a not-for-profit shoe charity created with the purpose of helping those in need one step at a time. We collect new and gently worn shoes to distribute them to those in need and in return the proceeds to our local community.

Q: How is Project Sole different from other fundraisers? (back to top)

A: Project Sole is a simple fundraiser for schools and organizations to raise money without making monetary donations, or paying for overpriced cookie dough and unwanted magazine subscriptions. As former students of such fundraisers we found a simple, unique, alternative which is also environmentally friendly.

Q: What types of shoes can I donate? (back to top)

A: We are looking for new and gently worn name brand athletic shoes. The reason being that they are known for durability and are commonly used around the world in all types of terrain and environments. For additional information, please refer to our Shoes section.

Q: Where will my shoes go? (back to top)

A: Your shoes are distributed to trusted vendors in 3rd world countries to supply the people living there with affordable footwear. These shoes are most often 1/5 the price of a normal pair of shoes and are able to last them for many miles of life's adventures.

A: At Project Sole we believe in a brighter future for the next generation, formed with the understanding that good deeds multiply, smiles are contagious, and charity never fails. We hope to be able to make a difference by helping those who need adequate quality footwear to prevent deadly viruses and diseases. We also hope to be able to help the local schools with needed funding for better education and scholarship opportunities for deserving students. We also hope to reduce the amount of waste that goes into landfills by recycling these shoes and by helping to reduce participant's carbon footprints one step at a time...
